Breakfast Pigs In a Blanket

Equipment

  • Parchment lined baking sheet
  • Frying Pan (optional)
  • Pastry brush

Ingredients
  

  • Jimmy Dean precooked sausage or links of choice
  • 1 rolls of 8 ct crescent dough

French Toast Mix:

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Cook link sausage according to the package
  • Mix french toast mix ingredients into a small bowl.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Roll out rolls, and brush inside with French toast mixture.
  • Place the sausage link at the wide end of the crescent triangle, and roll it towards the smaller end until closed.
  • Once all sausages are rolled into each of the crescent rolls.
  • Brush tops with more of the egg & milk mixture until covered.
  • bake for 12-15 mins until golden
