This easy Crock Pot Mississippi Pot Roast is the kind of meal that practically makes itself! Chuck roast, butter, ranch, au jus, and pepperoncini come together for a juicy, flavorful roast that melts in your mouth.
Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
Place the pepperoncini peppers on top of the mixes, and add the butter.
Set the slow cooker to low heat and cook for 8 hours.
Once cooked, serve the pot roast with your choice of noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.
Notes
Do not add any water or broth to this! It will make enough liquid as it cooks. If you don't have 8 hours to cook this roast, set your slow cooker to high heat and cook for 4-5 hours. This tastes delicious with potatoes and carrots! I like to add a few quartered russet potatoes and a large handful of baby carrots to the crockpot when there is about 1-2 hours left of cooking time.
