Place slices of bacon into the pan or griddle without over crowding.
Allow bacon to cook over medium heat about 3-4 mins.
It will begin to bubble a bit and form the classic crispy bacon shape.
Once it starts to brown, flip over the bacon.
The second side will cook faster.
After about 2-3 min begin checking the color of the other side.
Keep in mind your bacon will cook even after it’s on the stove due to residual heat
Flip bacon over one more time to verify it’s a nice toasted color.
Remove from pan or griddle and drain on paper towels.
Oven baked:
Preheat the oven to 425
Line a baking sheet with foil (for easier clean up)
If you don’t have foil you can lightly spray it with a non stick spray and wipe excess off
Lay out pieces of bacon in a bunched up way to mimic what crispy fried bacon looks like. Place in oven and cook for 20-25 mins (checking it around the 18 min mark)
Once bacon is crisp to your liking, Remove bacon and strain on paper towels.
